गांधी स्मृति एवं दर्शन समिति, नई दिल्ली/ राजीव गांधी स्टडी सर्कल, नई दिल्ली/ भारत सेवा संस्थान, जोधपुर के समेकित प्रयासों से सत्याग्रह शताब्दी समारोह 1906-2006 के आयोजन शृंखला में महात्मा गांधी जीवन दर्शन प्रदर्शनी का 3 से 7 फरवरी, 2008 तक चूरू के जैन श्वेताबंर गेस्ट हाऊस में आयोजन किया गया। इस दौरान जिले के विभिन्न विद्यालयों के विद्यार्थी एवं आम जन ने गांधी जीवन से जुड़ी दुर्लभ चित्रावली को देखा और बहुत कुछ जाना-समझा।
विभिन्न विद्यालयों के बच्चों के बीच गांधी जीवन से संबंधित प्रतियोगिताएं आयोजित की गईं।
चूरू में आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम को महात्मा गांधी जीवन-दर्शन समिति के राजस्थान समन्वयक श्री मनीष शर्मा ने संभाला व राजस्थान राज्य अल्पसंख्यक आयोग के पूर्व अध्यक्ष डॉ. निजाम मोहम्मद, राज्य गोसेवा आयोग के पूर्व अध्यक्ष श्री गुलजारीलाल सोनी, वरिष्ठ सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता श्री आशाराम सैनी एवं गांधीवादी समाजसेवी श्री हनुमान कोठारी ने मार्गदर्शित किया।
स्वतंत्रता सेनानियो के सान्निध्य में हुए चूरू के इस कार्यक्रम में अपार भीड़ जमी।
कार्यक्रम का समापन 18 अप्रेल, 2008 को श्री अशोक गहलोत, पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री, राजस्थान सरकार के मुख्य आतिथ्य में आयोजित भव्य समारोह के माध्यम से किया गया।
इस समारोह में पूरे राजस्थान से गांधीवादी जुटे। स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों का मान-सम्मान हुआ। आयोज्य प्रतियोगिता के विजेता प्रतिभागियों को पुरस्कृत किया गया। संयोजन गांधीवादी हनुमान कोठारी ने किया जबकि संचालन प्रदेश समन्वयक श्री मनीष कुमार शर्मा ने किया।
